Q: Do we run for the whole hour?
A: No way! We do skill work the majority of the time then a small workout at the end of class. Additionally you'll get an at-home workout each week that you can do with friends over the weekend.
Q: What if I've never run a mile in my life?
A: Then this class is for you! Just like all of our other classes here at CrossFit Hermitage, we adjust for ALL skill levels; we put emphasis on form over speed.
Q: I hate running. Why should I sign up for the #RunCFH class?
A: Tackle your weakness. Running requires a mindset shift, which is just one of the many things we work on during the 6 week cycle. You'll have plenty of things to think about & keep your mind busy that you'll forget you hate it. ;-)
Q: I can already run. Should I take the run class?
A: Do you experience pain when you run? Do your legs feel heavy? Do you take a long time to recover? Have you ever actually been taught proper running form?
Q: What can I expect in the run class?
A: I believe in teaching you the *why* of proper form so you understand the flow of body movement. You will learn how to be an efficient and injury-free runner who knows how to use gravity to your advantage. Not only do we work on form, but we also work on pacing, breathing and how to recover during a run. If you come to every class and do the homework, you WILL get faster.
